About Me
I’m a street photography addict—no pills or powders for me, just the raw, unfiltered rush of capturing the madness of the world around me. Since 2014, I’ve been pounding the urban streets, logging miles on foot like a desperate man chasing the fleeting moments that slip through the cracks of everyday life. My years as a street mime taught me how to anticipate people’s every move, to read the undercurrent of human behavior, and that’s what you’ll see in my photos—quirky, offbeat, and full of dry humor.
But why do I shoot? Because everywhere I look, I see people lost in their phones, drowning in their own bubble, completely unaware of the absurdity unfolding right in front of them. My photos? They’re a wake-up call. A reminder to look up, to really look, to observe the mess we’re all part of before it vanishes like yesterday’s hangover.
I’ve racked up some wins in the world of street photography competitions, had my work published in magazines and books, and you can find more about that in the Awards and Publications sections. What’s next? A book, some more gallery shows, and a some commercial gigs. Want to see more? Catch me on Instagram (@edovephotos) or Facebook (eric.davidove) to stay up to date on my latest work.
